We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage for 3 nights. The location was perfect, with rural beaches just a short drive away. The cottage itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a cozy wood-burning stove for chilly evenings. The enclosed garden was ideal for our Labrador to explore, and we appreciated the private decking area. The owner truly thought of everything to make our stay special, and we would definitely return.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

We booked Common Cottage for a weekend away and were instantly impressed. The interior was stylish and the house was spotlessly clean. The waterbed was a unique and cozy touch, making for a comfortable stay. The surrounding countryside was stunning, perfect for long walks. The location was ideal, with rural beaches just a short drive away and local pubs and restaurants within walking distance. a lovely stay and we would definitely return.

Lovely property, spacious and comfortable. Amenities nearby including pubs, shops, and takeaways. Ideal location for beach walks. Immaculate and well-equipped, felt like a home away from home.
Deck area needed cleaning, lots of cobwebs. No blinds on living room windows, lack of privacy.

had an amazing weekend in North Somercotes! Common Cottage surpassed our expectations - beautiful, relaxing space with a comfy bed and sofa. Loved the enclosed garden for our pooch. Pubs and shops nearby. Even on a rainy day, we were cozy with surround sound and Blu-rays. Highly recommend!
Fridge was dirty and sticky.

The location was great, with several amenities nearby including pubs, shops, and takeaways. the property had a lovely private garden and decking area, perfect for my dogs and safe for children. I really enjoyed using the wood burner, it made the cottage feel cozy and warm.
The cottage could be quite chilly due to the thickness of the walls, but it was easily remedied with the heating and the wood burner. the water bed was a new experience, but unfortunately, I didn't find it comfortable.
